Meeting No.1

The first meeting of the organisation was held to formally agree the formation of the group and establish the governance framework required for its operation.

During the meeting, trustees reviewed and approved a number of key governing documents, including the Constitution, Data Protection Policy, Financial Policy, Safeguarding Policy, and Trustee Register. These documents provide the foundation for the organisation's governance, accountability, and compliance responsibilities.

The organisational structure was also agreed, with appointments made to the roles of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Trustee. These positions will support the effective management and oversight of the organisation as it develops its activities and services.

Following the successful establishment of the governance framework and appointment of office bearers, an application was submitted for Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) status. This marks an important milestone in the organisation's development and reflects its commitment to operating as a recognised charitable body for the benefit of the community.

The group now looks forward to progressing its charitable objectives and continuing the work required to achieve full charitable status.
